# Competing CTAs on builder page — dev spec
Site: hostinger.com · Priority 10 · High · Effort: Medium (2-5 days)

## Problem
The website builder page has 10 competing CTAs without a clear hierarchy, making the primary conversion step ambiguous.

## Evidence (from the live site)
> 10 distinct calls to action compete on the same page: “Create a website”, “Explore agentic AI”, “Get connector”, “Contact How to reach us.”, “Start for free”, “Buy a domain”, “Contact us”, “Get web hosting”.

## Current state
cta: Multiple CTAs: Create a website, Explore agentic AI, Get connector, Contact, Start for free, Buy a domain, Contact us, Get web hosting, Find a domain, Learn more; notes: No clear primary CTA.

## Required change
cta: Primary: Start for free; notes: Prioritize 'Start for free' as the single primary CTA and move other actions to secondary positions.

## Acceptance criteria
- GIVEN a first-time visitor on the affected page
- WHEN the change is live
- THEN Prioritize 'Start for free' as the single primary CTA and move other actions to secondary positions.
- AND no layout regression at 375px / 768px / 1280px
- AND the changed control is keyboard-reachable with an accessible name

## Tracking
- Fire `cro_competing_ctas_builder_page` on interaction with the changed element
- Verify the event fires in BOTH variants before opening traffic

## Test plan
- Two-proportion z-test, 95% significance, 80% power
- 315,206 visitors per variant to detect a 5.0% relative lift
- Run at least one full business cycle; 37 days

## Rollback
Feature-flag the change; revert if the primary metric drops for 3 consecutive days.
