# Choice overload in nav — dev spec
Site: yahoo.com · Priority 6 · High · Effort: Medium (2-5 days)

## Problem
The homepage navigation presents a high number of links and multiple skip links, potentially overwhelming users and diluting focus on primary actions.

## Evidence (from the live site)
> Nav_items include 'News', 'Finance', 'Sports', 'Mail', 'Sign in', 'Trending' plus skip links; n_links: 211; body_sample shows multiple sections like 'Trending', 'Weekend Reads', 'Explore More', 'For You', 'Spotlight Videos', 'Popular Games'.
