# Competing CTAs on homepage — dev spec
Site: hostinger.com · Priority 3 · High · Effort: Medium (2-5 days)

## Problem
Hero presents multiple unrelated CTAs, fragmenting attention and obscuring the primary action.

## Evidence (from the live site)
> 12 distinct calls to action compete on the same page: “Create a website”, “Explore agentic AI”, “Get connector”, “Contact How to reach us.”, “Get started”, “Explore all offers”, “Create with AI”, “Explore Ecommerce”.

## Current state
h1: Your idea, online. Made easy.; cta: Create a website | Explore agentic AI | Get connector | Contact How to reach us. | Get started | Explore all offers | Create with AI | Explore Ecommerce | Explore AI email marketing | Start a chat | Learn more | Explore templates; notes: Hero presents multiple competing CTAs without a clear primary action.

## Required change
h1: Your idea, online. Made easy.; cta: Create a website; notes: Reduce hero to a single primary CTA and move secondary offers below the fold.

## Acceptance criteria

- THEN Reduce hero to a single primary CTA and move secondary offers below the fold.
- AND no layout regression at 375px / 768px / 1280px
- AND the changed control is keyboard-reachable with an accessible name

## Tracking
- Fire `cro_competing_ctas_on_homepage` on interaction with the changed element
- Verify the event fires in BOTH variants before opening traffic

## Test plan
- Two-proportion z-test, 95% significance, 80% power
- 315,206 visitors per variant to detect a 5.0% relative lift
- Run at least one full business cycle; duration depends on traffic

## Rollback
